Celebration Collection
I have always been a huge Peter Max fan. I love the color, texture, multi-colored brush strokes and his vibrant abstract approach to real subjects! I own a few of his
works and was honored to even meet him one day.
I do not paint everyday, in fact, I only paint when I am truly inspired to do so. Since my originals are so limited and sporadic, I was inspired to work with mixed media/hand
embellished mediums. I have always loved the idea of bringing new life or completely recreating previous works from my existing catalogue. I am also excited to "celebrate" and
publicize the legacy and works of many of my favorite artists to a whole new audience!
I am pleased to now offer my "Celebration Collection" which "celebrates" previous paintings I have done and the styles of some of the artists
that have inspired me, including Peter Max, James Rizzi, Miro and Andy Warhol. These are all bright and colorful, unique original variations of some of my most popular pieces.
Donation to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
I was proud and honored to have one of my paintings selected to be a part of the permanent collection of the Children's
Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). This painting entitled Flowers for Children's (CHOP) is now on display in the GI ward of the hospital.
Limited, signed and numbered prints are available and a portion of all the proceeds will be donated to the Children's
Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). If you would like to make monetary donations to this wonderful organization you may click here.
Flowers For David
Dr. David Andretta was the husband of my dear friend, Melissa. He lived his life to the fullest and truly strived to make a difference
in the world in all he did. While traveling in South Africa, with Melissa, his life was tragically cut short during a rock climbing accident.
He has left behind a wonderful legacy and a family that continues to spread his ideals to make the world a better place. The family along with
other philanthropic efforts have set up the Dr. David Andretta Scholarship Fund for socially conscious, progressive thinkers, who want to to study abroad and make a difference in the world! I
painted this as a gift to Melissa and as a way for me to help contribute to his wonderful legacy.
Limited, signed and numbered prints are available and a portion of all the proceeds will be donated to the Dr. David Andretta Scholarship fund.
